What We Do
Beza Community Development Association seeks to make an impact in the lives of needy individuals through a variety of activities, include making grants to other other organizations, donating equipment and supplies to health care institutions, and launching social service projects. Some of our primary projects are:
Entoto Outreach Project
The Entoto Outreach Project is an outreach to a community 4,000 people living with HIV/AIDS on Entoto mountain, which is on the outskirts of Addis Ababa. The goal of this project is to help these individuals obtain access to health care, income generation opportunities and eventually to help them reintegrate into back into society. The project is also helping the children of these individuals through after-school activities, health screenings, tutoring and other educational activities.
Women's Empowerment Fund
The Women's Empowerment Fund is a program that aims to help impoverished women in Addis Ababa attain financial self-sustenance through providing counseling, vocational training scholarships and micro-enterprise development assistance.
